1. Who we are

This website, scalecartsol.com, is operated by ScaleCart Solutions, Lahore, Pakistan ("ScaleCart", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Questions or requests: pk@scalecartsol.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you send a project brief we collect what you enter: name, company, email, phone, website, industry, service of interest, budget range, timeline and your message. If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and what you send us.

The page you came from. With a project brief we record the page you sent it from, so we know which service you were reading about.

Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as health, religious or financial account information) through this website. Please don't include it in your messages.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
• To prepare scopes, quotes and proposals you ask for.
• To deliver, support and invoice services you agree to.
• To keep the website secure, working and improving.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process this data because you asked us to (for example by sending an enquiry), to take steps towards or perform a contract with you, because of our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, or where required by law. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Marketing

We do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement. If you agree to receive updates from us, every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how visitors use this website: for example which pages are visited, how people arrive, the type of device and approximate location (country or city), and whether a project brief, WhatsApp, phone or email link was used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We use it in aggregate to improve the website, not to identify you, and we do not use it for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google's own use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. This website does not use advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as needed for their service:

• Website hosting: Vercel, which hosts and delivers this website.
• Email delivery: Resend, which delivers project briefs from the website to our inbox.
• Website analytics: Google Analytics, which measures how the website is used (see section 5).
• Email and messaging: our email provider, and WhatsApp (operated by Meta) when you message us there. Their own privacy terms apply to those services.

We may also disclose data where required by law, a court or a public authority, or to protect our rights.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside Pakistan, for example in the United States or Europe. Where that happens, we rely on providers with recognised data protection commitments and contractual safeguards, so your data stays protected.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client and project records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the period required by Pakistani commercial, tax and accounting law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to people who need it, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly on any incident.

10. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies in Pakistan, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data, where we no longer need it or have no legal reason to keep it;
• restrict or stop certain processing, including any direct marketing;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• transfer data you provided to another organisation, where applicable.

Email pk@scalecartsol.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority that applies to you.

11. Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
